Guy Cook
[edit]I notice that you are continuing to work on the article Guy Cook. You appear to be working in an external text editor, pasting your new text into the Wikipedia article each time. This is unfortunate; if you look at the history of the article, you will see that four other editors worked on the article since your earlier edits. Their improvements have been lost.
In particular I'd like you to look at the edit I made in response to your post at the Help desk, which was intended to show you the proper syntax for formatting references. I'll happily re-instate that edit, but not if you are going to overwrite it with an incorrect version again! -- John of Reading (talk) 17:40, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
I've also reformatted your addition to Discourse analysis. I suggest you look through the Wikipedia cheatsheet as an introduction to the syntax you need to use when writing articles here. -- John of Reading (talk) 17:44, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
