Barbara Fialho

Hi, you voted when the article Barbara Fialho was in the articles for deletion. I thought of requesting a deletion review in order to do this article again. I wanted to have the opinion of the people involved in the discussion before doing it and you're the only one still active on wikipedia. So here are my motivations:

Please tell me if you think I should request a deletion review. Thank you for your time. --MirandaKeurr (talk) 22:19, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

MirandaKeurr - hello! I really don't know much about gauging the notability of current models. Many of these sources - the blogs, the forum posts, and the Daily Mail articles - would not be considered reliable sources. The original article was, I appear to have noted, very poor, so you may be better off starting a new one - but I really can't say whether or not she would pass general notability guidelines. She sounds as if she probably should be notable to me due to sheer volume of coverage, but I've not got a great track record with modern day models - I know more about historic ones! But yes, I think it can do no harm to request a deletion review, or maybe draft a new article at WP:Articles for Creation? Mabalu (talk) 23:22, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Draft: George Brooks Jeweler

Hello Mabalu! First off, thank you so much for your amazing edits to my George Brooks Jeweler page. It looks and flows so much better. I am working with George to get Wikipedia the proper usage documentation regarding the images, which are all his. I'm just a little confused at this point about whether or not I need to resubmit this draft or if you have already done so? If you could please let me know either way, it would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Mdrake3 (talk) 04:01, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

Mdrake3 Hello! I happened to notice it was nominated for speedy deletion and thought you had abandoned it, so thought I'd have a look at it and see if I could fix it. I'm glad you like what I did with the article. Regarding the images - if you can get Brooks's permission, then please do see if you can get better quality images, as the current images were all very, very small and very hard to read clearly. They appeared to have been copied from the website thumbnails, which is usually a sign that the person does not really have permission as happens all too often on Wikipedia! Would be great to have some cleared images for the page and a better image of Brooks (preferably one where the photographer won't need to clear use of the image first.) Talk:Lavender Prada dress of Uma Thurman

Per our recent discussion of Reese Witherspoons yellow dress, mind commenting on another merge at Talk:Lavender Prada dress of Uma Thurman? Thanks :) LADY LOTUSTALK 13:10, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

World dictator

Your wish is my command. I've closed it as non-admin. Probably need a bit of tidying up at the new target, World domination, but that almost is a DAB in the sense it lists it in all kinds of senses.

Chin up and keep up the good work. Si Trew (talk) 10:50, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Talk: ICE Portal

Hi Mabalu,

Thank you for your tags, they were extremely helpful in writing my first Wikipedia page. I have added reliable and credible secondary sources, in addition to editing the page so it is more general and informative. I believe that the page falls under the general notability guideline as it falls under the organizations and category and companies that work with ICE Portal have their own Wikipedia pages as well that emphasizes cloud computing and travel distribution. I can add additional sources if you feel that it may or may not be notable. I wanted to provide a solid foundation and basis of the company before I expanded, without it sounded like an advertisement as you stated. I hope that I improved the article and if you have any additional comments on how I can better improve the article, please let me know.

So my question to you is would I need to delete my post if i'm too close to the source or will it get automatically rejected/deleted? Alexandraice (talk) 22:38, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi Alexandraice - as you haven't denied it, I assume you ARE indeed affiliated with ICE Portal. While there isn't an automatic rejection/deletion procedure, it does mean that your editing on the page should be closely scrutinised and I must advise you not to directly edit it any more. If you wish to request edits to the page, please post on Talk:ICE Portal so that a third party can assess them before adding. However, the page has not yet been reviewed and may still be nominated for deletion, which I'm not sure it will survive. Mabalu (talk) 10:21, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
