This page was born in 2001 and continues to this day. I started as comic relief/catharsis, and a few other editors joined in.

Late in 2001 it got moved to Meta for six years, and I forgot about it. During that time hundreds of extra edits were added. (Probably less than 10% of what is here is mine.) In 2007 someone over at Meta alerted me that it was about to be deleted so I rescued it and brought it back home where it belongs. I lost most of the edit history, but in a way I like that - the anonymity of the madness gives it a certain charm.

Even after an extensive cleanup it remains barely coherent lunacy. However it is comforting to know that there is no problem on Wikipedia that wasn't here a decade ago, andsomehow the crazy project just keeps going. Manning (talk) 10:09, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
