Publishing drafts

[edit]

When moving a draft to Mainspace, please make sure to perform proper clean up, including adding proper categories and tagging for major issues, at the very least. Please also check that the article title is correctly spelled and formatted in accordance with the WP:Article titles guideline. For drafts created under the Articles for Creation process, you should follow these manual reviewing instructions. While there's no actual proscription against any editor manually publishing a draft, some do frown upon relatively new editors doing so, so please make absolutely sure you know what you're doing. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:18, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and a belated welcome to Wikipedia. Below is a standard welcome message with links to some useful pointers. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:21, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, @Paul 012, but I sometimes can’t follow the rules. The AFC reviewers are not fair; they seem to know these articles are clearly notable, yet I have seen them reject many without checking the sources. This could lead to a significant loss of Thai articles, and after six months, these draft articles are deleted and will be forgotten. Thanks for your welcome. I wholly understand how frustrating it is that a lot of AFC reviewers tend to decline articles about clearly notable subjects just because of minor shortcomings. Of course, any editor in good standing is well within their rights to move a draft to Mainspace, whether or not they are registered as an AfC reviewer. What I'm asking of you is to take proper care in adding categories and checking for issues. You haven't categorised any of the articles you recently moved from draft. I can help if you need, but I would like to see that you're also able to do so yourself. --Paul_012 (talk) 13:17, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much... I'll try. ManoiCMU (talk) 13:48, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
