AfD issue
[edit]Follow the instructions at WP:AFD. :) asenine say what? 16:10, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- What do you want me to do? I will do it for you. asenine say what? 16:14, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Please do not add a discussion of an unrelated article for this AfD. I can see that you were trying to nominate Spartak! for an AfD but apparently did not follow the instructions correctly. You need to create a separate AfD page for Spartak!. I am not a big expert on fixing these things, so I suggest that at this point you use WP:Help desk and place a helpme tag on your talk page (or I can do it for you if you like). Someone who knows how to fix this will help you then. Nsk92 (talk) 16:17, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- I have done it. See here. asenine say what? 16:21, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
OK, I have also cleaned up the log page and removed the residue of the first abortive AfD attempt for Spartak! from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2008 May 17 (where it still sat above Elino), so that the Spartak AfD is listed once in the log.
Mattbroon, I have also removed (for now) your DELETE comment from the bottom of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Popmundo (2nd nomination). Since Popmundo's entry was right above your first attempt to create a Spartak AfD in the log, I had assumed that your comment was related to Spartak! and that you did not actually intend to vote in the Popmundo AfD. If this is a mistake, I am sorry, and please restore your vote in the Popmundo AfD in that case. Nsk92 (talk) 16:46, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:32, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Placement of AfD comments
[edit]When voting in an AfD, please place your comments at the bottom of the list of comments, so that they appear in chronological order. This is the standard AfD convention on Wikipedia. I saw that in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chewinggum Airlines you have originally placed your comment above the actual AfD nomination. I have moved your comment to its proper place in the list. I also move your keep comment in the Elino AfD to its proper chronological place as well. Nsk92 (talk) 16:56, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
AfD
[edit]I have reverted it to my version as you both edited my comment and made it unclear that it was not me that was nominating it. Please, leave it be. asenine say what? 17:04, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Forgery of prod tags
[edit]I am rather concerned by this edit you made to the Neil Kinnock article. While Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy, there are some processes that are used to keep things orderly, and proposed deletion is one of them. Changing a timestamp on a prod tag shows a deliberate attempt to manipulate the system.
Reviewing your edit history and block log, this is not the first incident where you've disrupted a process. It therefore appears that the act was a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. Therefore:

New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi Mattbroon,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
