Georgian alphabet

[edit]

Hi. Your recent activity on the Georgian alphabet article is — whether you intended to do this or not — likely to be seen as a continuation of an edit war which another editor started waging a few days ago. If you honestly believe the material in question does not belong, regardless of the fact that it appears to be supported by reliable sources, then you need to participate in a discussion with other editors on the article's talk page and reach some sort of consensus before proceeding. It may very possibly end up being the case that this article should outline multiple, opposing views in keeping with the neutral point of view policy. But even if you are convinced that you are right, and everyone else is wrong, and that there is nothing to discuss, this is still not acceptable on Wikipedia as an excuse for edit warring. If you make any more attempts to impose this particular editing of the article without a general consensus to do so, you are likely to be blocked from editing in order to protect Wikipedia from damage by edit warring and other disruptive editing practices. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 23:51, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think that the Armenians did the Georgian alphabet.
Now, I do not want to take part in any discussion.--Medgeorgia (talk) 16:29, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been edit-warring, inserting copy-and-pasted text in violation of copyrights, and used poor sources including circular ones ("books" that are themselves just Wikipedia mirrors) on the Georgian alphabet article, as well as engaged in repeated tendentious argument over it. If you continue editing in this vein, you will be blocked without further warning. Fut.Perf. 08:46, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

I don't understand you. You don't appear to be blocked at ka-wiki, and if you were, we couldn't do anything about it. Peridon (talk) 18:29, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I corrected the mistakes in the English Wikipedia about Georgians and others, But I was involved into the discussion with Armenians.

I myself am fighting against injustice and insults. Please unblock me due to the contribution in ka wikipedia.--MEDGEORGIA  talk  18:39, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. You're asking us to take your good contributions at ka-wiki into account. Unfortunately, I don't think many of the en-wiki admins can read Kartvelian languages - or Armenian either... I can tell that you haven't been blocked from editing there, but nothing else. Peridon (talk) 19:22, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK, Bro. I was trying to defend my language from Armenians, but I was angry because of the insolence of Armenians. Therefore I Blocked. Not bad, I will continue work on Kartvelian language in Georgian (ka) wiki. --MEDGEORGIA  talk  19:37, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This was not a time-limited block. It was indefinite, in response to behavior by you. Indefinite blocks remain in place until the issue that led to them is resolved, so if you want to be unblocked, you will need to address the behavior you were blocked for, not just inform us that time has passed. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If you have already appealed to the Unblock Ticket Request System and been declined you may appeal to the Arbitration Committee's Ban Appeals Subcommittee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
