Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for contributing edits to Rick Caruso that were made in good faith, but have been deemed not to contribute positively to the article. These edits have thus been reverted. Wikipedia's page on unacceptable additions may explain why. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out the Teahouse, ask the Help Desk, or place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Once again, welcome! Fettlemap (talk) 16:59, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your continued insistence on removing relevant content that is within the guidelines of Wikipedia and ever-changing, inconsistent, and incorrect stated reasons for doing so are concerning, demonstrate your biased goals, and make me seriously question your motivations. Metalfappaidoff (talk) 18:13, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a place for trivial events. You have not provided any reason this is a significant event. Fettlemap (talk) 03:45, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Multiple accounts were created because password to previous accounts were forgotten. This was not done intentionally, and there will not be another account created, nor used. This block is not necessary. Metalfappaidoff (talk) 01:26, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Decline reason:

You seem to be saying you lack sufficient competence. If so, that's really concerning and WP:CIR would apply. You are welcome to submit another unblock request, convincing us you can be trusted to stick to a single account going forward and can be trusted to remember your password (for example, you have set up a password manager, or otherwise have figured out how to recover a password on your account). If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have put my password for this account into my password manager 1Password, in addition to physically writing down cyphered password and storing in a safe space, and will not be needing to ever create a new Wikipedia account. I will stick to this account and will use within the guidelines of Wikipedia. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. Metalfappaidoff (talk) 17:58, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

After discussing with the blocking admin, I'm unwilling to unblock you. Your username is a dig at your opposition, your other accounts were used to pursue your edit war. Nothing you've done so far has been appropriate. I thank you for addressing your WP:CIR issues, but there are simply too many issues remaining. You are free to make another unblock request and a different admin will review it. Yamla (talk) 09:33, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
