Communication
[edit]Communication needs to go both ways. You complain that someone "flamed" you, but others could with equal (or better) justification say that you "flamed" them in what you wrote at talk:Riemann zeta function. I was simply attempting to understand what your concern is. It doesn't seem polite for you to complain bitterly about others misunderstanding you and then walk away, when others are attempting to understand and you're no longer willing to understand or to help others understand.
You say there is general information about values of zeta at integers, and then it goes on to specific information about values of zeta at complex numbers. But integers are more specific than complex numbers, and complex numbers more general than integers. Michael Hardy 02:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- natural number series might belong in a *topic about zeta functions in general*.
Another problem: the values given in that section are only those of the Riemann zeta function, not those of any other zeta functions. So they certainly don't belong in an article about zeta functions in general. Michael Hardy 17:12, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
modular arithmetic
[edit]You wrote:
- The clock dial is the basis and the origin of modular arithmetic.
I find that wildly implausible. What reason do you have to say such a thing? Can you cite any source? Michael Hardy 17:39, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Jean Klein.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Jean Klein.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:30, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
