We can continue to have an editing war about the Jefferson Bible, but the facts remain that there is no verifiable reason to label Jefferson a Deist. It is well-documented that he called himself a Christian and not a Deist, and in fact as President supplied, with government funds, Christian Missionaries to the Native Americans. To call Jefferson a Christian is not revisionist, to call him a Deist is.
