License tagging for Image:EileenGray.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:EileenGray.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:05, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Welcome!

Hello, Moniquestern, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Thank you in particular for your expansion of Lilly Reich. Are your additions sourced from anywhere in particular? It would be very useful to add some references (book, journal article, website, whatever).

Anyway, thanks again. -- ALoan (Talk) 15:23, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Moniguestern. This image has been in the category for images with no copyright tag for longer than 7 days and is likely to be deleted very soon. Again, please review Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and act swiftly in adding this info. It is probably copyrighted but might qualify as fair use, you'll have to check with where you got it from though. Also consider taking a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Architecture and consider joining if you are interested. I've seen some of your contributions and like what I've seen so far. • Please don't add links from that commercial site. They are spamming with their links all over wikipedia. I am putting the tag for the explanation and links, I understand it was not your intent to vandalize. Thanks. -THB 02:43, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
