Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Sophia Loren
There had been discussion before that images would be arbitrary on this article because people of a Caucasian (broadly speaking) phenotype can have the skin tone known as olive from 1) birth 2) sun tan 3) cosmetics. There was a time before when the article had a 19th-century map of the world (a time when people were very interested in anthropological differences) in which all the parts of the world known to have people of olive skin was highlighted in a similar colour. I didn't think either that the lead image on light skin was particularly encyclopedic, it looked more like something from a prospectus from a Dutch college. Something I believe would be better in that case would be like a collage of young and old, male and female – and especially the oft-forgot light-skinned people of backgrounds other than Caucasian.
I appreciate your communication and your contributions on Wikipedia. If my edits seemed hasty, I do apologise. A similar discussion on lead image matters led to ALL collages being removed from EVERY ethnic group article. The conclusion seemed to be that, for example, the vast majority of Poles were not John Paul II or Marie Curie. There was also the point of whether historical importance had to go alongside valour, for example whether Hitler was appropriate for a collage of history's most notable Austrians, or Stalin for the Georgians '''tAD''' (talk) 12:05, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

Systemic bias issue
Hi, I just read your comments at Wikipedia talk:Meetup/Women in Red/8 (I won't barge into the conversation there). At Talk:Donald Trump presidential campaign, 2016, you said you were against the concerns I raised, but actually I agree 100% with everything you said regarding "Systemic bias" at the previous link. I also entirely agree with you that Donald Trump's positions on women should be mentioned on the campaign article; in fact this was something I noticed, but chose not to comment on unless I had better sources at hand. My concern, and I'm speaking as a non-American political scientist rather than someone who would have any reason to care that Wikipedia says mean things about Trump, is/was a structural one and not a POV one. Apologies if the discussion I triggered gave the impression that I was trying to push a more favourable point of view for Trump in the article. —Nizolan (talk) 11:15, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 30
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Phoebe Robinson, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages FX and Glamour. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
