Page protection

[edit]

Please read WP:Protection Policy. First off, we do not fully protect pages for the reason you are requesting. In the case of vandalism, we do semi-protect pages, but fully protection is only used to temporarily stop content disputes. Second, you have asserted a few times that the information is wrong and you are fixing it, but at least on Nicole Scherzinger discography, the information you removed was verified by reliable sources. So you're going to have to discuss the issue on the article's talk page. The first step when you have a dispute about something is not to request protection--its to try to discuss the issue with other editors. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:18, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And on Cheryl Cole discography, there were maybe 2 or 3 instances of vandalism in the last month. That is not enough to justify semi-protection. Protection is only for articles receiving sustained or regular vandalism, or where the problems are very bad (like if they're attacking a living person). [edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Nicole Scherzinger discography. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If you "That Grape Juice" isn't a reliable source", than take it to WP:RSN. Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 10:48, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Nicole Scherzinger discography, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Armbrust, B.Ed. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at The Entertainer (Alesha Dixon album), you may be blocked from editing. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:23, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And your edit on The Alesha Show was also wrong--the album was certified platinum. I am beginning to think that you are actual a deliberate vandal, and I'm not sure we can trust even a single edit you've made. Do NOT make any more edits without citing reliable sources. If you don't, you will be blocked. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:26, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And another on + (album)--that reference clearly shows it sold more than a million copies. What are you doing? Qwyrxian (talk) 01:32, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

On + i added that it had sold 1.2 million because it has been confirmed when it was certified 4x platinum and the alesha show is not wrong it is only Gold --Mr JKX (talk) 19:25, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Vegas Girl (EP), as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Topher385 (talk) 20:07, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Take You There (song), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Titanium (song), you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Oz talk 23:46, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Mr JKX, is considered bad practice, even if you meant it well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. What is wrong with you? Please do not remove these messages at your own convenience. They are here for some reasons. Vyom25 (talk) 04:59, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at MDNA (album), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dan56 (talk) 23:25, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Una Healy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page On Your Radar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 17:17, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Lil-unique1. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. The removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 17:44, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Hurt: The EP. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Direct violation of warning notice. AARONTALK 17:43, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to DNA (Little Mix album), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you.  -- WikHead (talk) 21:26, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at What Makes You Beautiful, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Do not remove content without explaining the reason. Widr (talk) 19:58, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Your Body (Christina Aguilera song). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. You can't change genres based on your personal opinion. You have to provide sources or discuss the changes on the Talk page. Widr (talk) 22:09, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Candy (Robbie Williams song)‎, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Widr (talk) 22:37, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:04, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry - there are 20 warnings on this very page telling you the problems you're causing/creating. When one ignores those warnings and continues doing the same things, there's no choice but to stop assuming good faith editing, and we must come to the conclusion that it's your intent to damage the project. A scan of a handful of your edits show those warnings to be valid (✉→BWilkins←✎) 15:32, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
