Alan Reeve

It is a shame that this page doesn’t tell the whole story of Alan Reeve. And why he was eventually released and there are no records for him all disappeared, no programmed in tv show anything about him as well… I spoke to him on several occasions about his life and what he did do and what he didn’t do, I just wish he was alive to tell the truth about everything that happened during his life time. 2A01:4C8:80A:40B1:4C6C:31F5:AE2D:F726 (talk) 20:27, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

I know it can be frustrating, but wikipedia is based upon verifiability, so unfortunately what Reeve may or not have said to you cannot be used here. As I'm sure you noticed, your additions were reverted after just one minute. As the reverter suggested, it's prob worth reading WP:NPOV and WP:OR. Hope that helps. June songs

Thank you today for Olive Morris, introduced: "Olive Morris was a Black activist in the 1970s and no doubt would be better known had she not died tragically young. She grew up in South London and became a squatter activist, involved in Black liberation groups such as the British Black Panther Movement, Brixton Black Women's Group and the Race Today Collective. When she studied in Manchester, she was quick to become involved in local campaigns, and upon returning to London her activism continued before being cut short at the age of 27. Her legacy has recently been invigorated by the Remembering Olive Collective"! - I like today's Main page, with her, two other women pictured, and Klara Höfels. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:57, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

DYK for De Vloek

On 21 June 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article De Vloek, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Dutch squatters fighting eviction from De Vloek (The Curse) briefly occupied Scheveningen Pier? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/De Vloek. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, De Vloek), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

An apology

I'm sorry for lashing out at WT:GAN. It was out of line and not a reflection of the kind of editor I want to be. Sometimes Wikipedia can be a stressful place, but that's no excuse for not treating others decently, and I came up short. Ruбlov (talkcontribs) 23:25, 25 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for saying that. Onwards and upwards! Mujinga (talk) 11:42, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
