ErfgoedBot stucked
Hi, it seems there is some problem with ErfgoedBot not working for some weeks by now. Could you check it please? Thanks a lot! --RomanM82 (talk) 19:48, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
- It's a really useful bot, is it fixable? Nev1 (talk) 10:51, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
- I hate to keep asking, but is there a plan to restore the bot? Nev1 (talk) 15:35, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- @RomanM82: @Nev1: it's still running on the Toolserver. That's falling apart. I'm working on getting it moved to Toollabs. Multichill (talk) 11:11, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- Good to know it's still being looked after :-) Good luck with the transfer to Toollabs. Nev1 (talk) 15:13, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
- It's alive! Multichill (talk) 20:57, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

National Hockey team
Nice that you changed those pages into disambiguation pages, but why did you not solve the 40 or so templates that have now links to disambiguation pages? See here. The Banner talk 21:03, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- Hoi The Banner, dat is allemaal het {{Fh}} sjabloonmoeras. Daar liep ik al snel tegen een beveiligd sjabloon aan. Ik maak eerst het hernoemen af. Multichill (talk) 21:09, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
It is not that difficult: just add "|altlink=Netherlands men's national field hockey team" and likewise to the template, as you can see in Template:2012 Summer Olympics men's field hockey game E2. The Banner talk 21:57, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Scratch that! A simple change in the Fh-template solved the problem automagically. The Banner talk 22:01, 7 June 2014 (UTC)- Zoiets hoopte ik al, vandaar dat ik het eerst heb afgemaakt. Dat zal een hoop verkeerde links schelen! Multichill (talk) 22:03, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- There are still hundreds of articles linking to those disambiguation pages directly, not through templates. I invite you to consider WP:FIXDABLINKS. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 12:20, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Russ, I fix some every once in a while. My motivation to work on this is negatively influenced by the other user in this thread. I really don't like his comments and behavior. Probably because his main activity on the Dutch Wikipedia is trolling. Multichill (talk) 15:39, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- Another 100+ articles done, about 200 links to disambiguation pages fixed... The Banner talk 13:47, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- Could you please clean up the disaster you have created? The Banner talk 13:55, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Still to solve

File source problem with File:RHCH I'mWithYou Promo Pic.png
Since you appear to be the original file uploader of this file, I am moving this message from my Talk page to yours. I am unsure why I am listed as the file uploader. ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 22:40, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading File:RHCH I'mWithYou Promo Pic.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. - Dear user:ScottMHoward, what makes you think I've uploaded this image? Sfan00 IMG was right to leave this note on your talk page. Multichill (talk) 13:42, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
- My apologies. I assumed that since you archived this image in your user page here, it meant that you had originally uploaded it. I was not the original uploader of this file. If I recall, I made a minor change to the file and the previous versions were deleted for some reason. ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 22:51, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
Erfgoed bot output
Have you considered creating more pages for output of unused images and (more pressingly) missing commonscat links? I have compiled a list of all the pages I have found to which your bot produces output at User:Dudemanfellabra/AddCommonsCatLinks#Supported registers, and I notice there are a whole bunch of red x's, especially in the commonscat column. I realize that most of these registers probably have zero missing commonscat links, but registers with large amounts of tagged categories like Canada, India, Wallonia, South Africa, and Scotland are increasingly likely to have at least a few. Is making these output pages as simple as adding new titles for missingCommonscatPage
in the monuments_config file? If so, why not make some output for the above registers (and any others you may deem fit). If not, what else needs to be done? I'm willing to help if necessary. My main goal is to get a list for missing commonscat links in Canada. I've been going through the unused images over the last few days with my script and have found many missing commonscat links as well. Having a list would help with adding them, especially for lists where there are missing cats but no missing images. I'll watch here, so let me know if I need to do anything to get these pages created. Thanks!--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 10:16, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Dudemanfellabra,
- That's a nice overview Dudemanfellabra! Lot's of things need to be done to improve and expand the Monuments database. After last year's Wiki Loves Monuments I was completely done with it. I considered just abandoning the whole thing with the whole Toolserver shutdown. In the end I didn't do that, but I don't plan to invest a lot more time in it anytime soon.
- It's probably just adding the right field to the configuration. Anyone who is able to understand Git/Gerrit can do this change. Git/Gerrit has quite a steep learning curve I'm afraid. this page contains some pointers. You can also use gerrit patch uploader to submit the change. You should give it a shot.
- I or one of the other maintainers can review and deploy it. Multichill (talk) 18:47, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
- Ah I understand you not wanting to invest as much time in it as you have been. Setting everything up for the database is a very meticulous task, and any one person should not be expected to maintain it. Thank you for everything you have done so far! I will see if I can figure out how to submit a change soon.--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 13:54, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- I saved the config file to my hard drive, added lines for more output pages, and used the upload form on the tool you linked and got this output:

- I also tried just pasting the content into the provided box and got the same response. Any ideas why?--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 14:46, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- I've looked more into this, including trying to install/learn git, and I just really don't want to waste any more time on it. I just want to add a few lines to the code.. why is that so complicated? hahaha.. You mentioned other maintaners, though. Who are they? Maybe I can get one of them to add the output pages if you don't have the time.--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 02:00, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
