Left (Monkey House album) ‎

[edit]

Hello, thanks for writing this article! I’ve just read it and I’m a bit concerned that it has no citations. That worries me since without proof that this topic is notable, meaning covered enough in media for it to be possible to write a fair article on the topic, the article may get deleted.

Are there any reliable sources on the topic that you can add? If so just edit the article and add citations using the cite tool, or if you have any thoughts or questions just let me know. Blythwood (talk) 04:50, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Blythwood. I am new to this. The "Left (Monkey House album)" is a brand new page I just started today. I already have two citations in the opening paragraph. Are you not seeing them? Also, I wanted this article to be a Draft, but for some reason I do not see that it is saved as a Draft. I am not ready to submit it for review yet, as I am still working on it. I have another article I did submit a few days ago that is waiting for review. How do I put the "Left (Monkey House album)" into my Sandbox? Perhaps I did not create this article correctly. ncmtman77 Ncmtman77 (talk) 05:23, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry, I made a mistake with that message, but a few reviews of this album would be nice to include in the article. For help you could read the "My First Article" guide, which tells you how to build an article up in stages in draft. Anyway, I've cleaned up formatting in your article - I've added a reference list and made a heading display by moving the citation off it. Hope that's OK. Please see WikiProject albums note added (see above) to add info box for this album Ncmtman77 (talk) 17:32, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Monkey House has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Monkey House. Thanks! Robert McClenon (talk) 15:04, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. McClenon, I believe I have already met at least a couple criteria: 1) {Item 2 Criteria for Musicians and Ensembles}: Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart. I have referenced Billboard chart position 24 on Jazz Chartt, as well as a separate reference to iTunes chart positions....{Item 5 states}: Has released two or more albums on a major record label. Monkey House has released six albums, most notably the last two on Alma Records. Ncmtman77 (talk) 18:10, 4 October 2016 (UTC) ncmtman77[reply]

Also, I need help in linking a reference to this album page. The page is Monkey House, which is still in draft and not approved yet. And, will someone doing a search for just the word "Left" be directed to a list of possible pages? Currently it does not show up on the list. Perhaps it will after the page is approved? Ncmtman77 (talk) 23:42, 5 October 2016 (UTC) ------------ Update: I found out how to do a pipe link for the album name "Left", which I have inserted into both "Don Breithaupt" and "Monkey House" articles Ncmtman77 (talk) 05:20, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove the heading "This is an orphan article" from the "Left" album article, as there are now two pipe links set in place, as stated above {see the 05:20 comment above} Ncmtman77 (talk) 05:31, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Hi, the Retrospective album article still needs more reliable sources, such as reviews. This is a list of album articles reliable sources Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources. Regarding Facebook and Twitter references - although some editors accept them, a lot of editors regard them as unreliable and will delete them, there is also an XLink bot which automatically deletes them so it would be better if you can replace them with rs refs. Thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 03:11, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
