Not sure it was canvasing
[edit]Notbrev, I tend to agree with you that this isn't wp:CANVAS [1]. Per the first section in CANVAS I could see a claim that this is not an impartial request but you didn't suggest in the request which way you hoped the respondents would reply. Also, as the AR-15 article has that sort of content I can see why it would make sense to ask there. In general it's best to keep notifications to related projects/notice boards and sometimes closely related article talk pages. I could see a claim the AR-15 subject is too removed from the subject at hand but I personally won't see much merit in such a claim. Springee (talk) 13:29, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
