F1 Qualifying 1959 onwards

Hey Offa29. Yesterday I started adding qualifying results from the 1959 German Grand Prix onwards, but didn't realise you've recently been doing the same! I don't mean to step on your toes. Near-close near-back rounded vowel and Close-mid central rounded vowel

Hi Offa29. I've reverted you at Near-close near-back rounded vowel as no "Lindsey 2012" work is defined in that article. There are two Lindsey work "Lindsey 2012a" - "The British English vowel system" or "Lindsey 2012b" - "Morgen – a suitable case for treatment". If you don't mean either then a full new cite in the References section for Lindsey 2012c is needed. Similarly you've added "Lindsey 2012" to Close-mid central rounded vowe but it is undefined in that article, could you add the required cite to the references section ormlet me know what work this refers to? -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested ∆transmissions∆ °co-ords° 16:33, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"LBJ was a Democrat but Nixon was a Republican, so "also" doesn't make sense here."

Actually, in this case, the word "also" has nothing to do with political affiliation. He supported someone in 1964. He also supported someone in 1968.

However, the word "also" is indeed unnecessary linguistically, so the change isn't necessarily wrong. It's just the reasoning that needed adjustment. :) milladrive (talk) 19:39, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Maps in list of parliamentary constituencies in Cheshire

Hi. I refer to the maps you posted of the new constituency boundaries following the 2023 review in List of parliamentary constituencies in Cheshire. There is dashed line showing the county boundary in Ellesmere Port and Bromborough, but not one in Widnes and Halewood, which is also a cross-county boundary constituency. Thanks. I have also spotted a small error on the map of Hertfordshire constituencies 2024: the numbers for the Hertsmere and Hitchin constituencies are transposed. Fixed, thanks for pointing out. If you wish to be able to overwrite Wikimedia Commons files, you can request autopatrol rights there, provided you fulfil the criteria (you need to have made a certain amount of constructive edits on the Commons, I forget the number and it doesn't seem to be listed in an easily accesible place, but if you've been making constructive uploads for years you probably qualify).
