Deletion
[edit]Hi, I deleted your recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts or show that it meets the company notability guidelines. Since it appears to have only one branch, it may well not meet the criteria anyway.
It also contained unreferenced promotional claims that need in-line independent references if they are true. A few examples (there are others)
- A Professional Corporation
- one of the largest vision care centers in the United States
- pioneer in medical advertising
- standard model for most successful health-care practices
- Linden Optometry quickly became well-known in Southern California for it's [sic] wide array of eyecare services
The article is all about the services provided, nothing about eg turnover. Please see this information
The article lacked any wikilinks, and looked as if it might have been copied from a non-public domain source, such as the company website. I didn't check for this since it failed on the criteria above, but note that copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright isn't sufficient.
I've never heard of Lenscraft, so please don't question my integrity. I looked at their article. It's very poor, but it does have independent references, and it's been around too long to be speedy deleted. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:45, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
