Your signature

This is a reminder that your signature on a discussion page needs to include a link in accordance with WP:SIGLINK. I wonder whether you may have tried to customise your signature and erroneously ticked the "Treat the above as wiki markup" box at Special:Preferences? --David Biddulph (talk) 06:10, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Another point on sortable tables

[edit]

I notice that in the wildfires table in Los Alamos, New Mexico the sort button wasn't visible. This was because of the problem reported at Help:Sorting#Background colors in sortable headers, so I've corrected it in this edit and hence the sort button is now visible. --David Biddulph (talk) 04:13, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I was bouncing through random articles and came across Meteorite classification. As I began to read it, I was struck by how clearly written it was. So many science articles seemed intended to intimidate rather then educate. When I looked at the history, I saw that you had done significant rewriting of the article. Comparing the article now to before your edits, the improvement is impressive. So, thanks for the work you did on the article, you made it a pleasure to read. Thank you, I wanted for myself and others to understand the article—I am not a specialist by any means, however I think it is important for articles like these to be more clear and unbiased. 2601:8C3:8200:2B60:81E2:911E:41BA:9A5A (talk) 00:44, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
