Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing for a period of indefinite for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Person512. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 08:01, 11 April 2014 (UTC) |
Person512 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I understand why I am being blocked, but I promise I am not using multiple accounts. This account "Person512" is my only account. I understand the frustration from the users who have blocked me and I apologize for my actions. I personally never count pre-show matches as being on the official card, but that is just me. I will no longer be a nuisance and will only edit what needs to be edited (i.e. who defeated who in a match).
Accept reason:
Firstly sorry for the wait, which is the main reason I'm unblocking you rather than commenting and waiting for DoRD to get back online. Based on the CU results and your claim that you are not involved I'm unblocking you in good faith. There is still behavioural evidence which suggests that this account may be linked to the others. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 09:41, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
@Callanecc: I haven't really looked at the behavior, but the technical evidence supports Person512's claim. The other two accounts listed in the SPI are highly Likely the same, but this account appears to be Unrelated. —DoRD (talk) 14:47, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Carolina Rebellion, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heavy Metal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Do You Wanna Start a War album cover.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Do You Wanna Start a War album cover.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 12:17, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
