Thank you for the nice message. I am trying to do as many things right as I can. As someone told me: You're not a real Wikipedian until you've made lots of mistakes and learned from each of them! This may sound weird. But, Wikipedia is keeping me off the streets. If you read about me. I drop out of the Sureño gang. I decided this was not the way I wanted to live my life. Zink Dawg -- 19:38, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well I'm glad you're doing better. I have a whole side of my family that are in gangs in Orange County. I disapprove to their faces, but love them just the same because it's their choice. Spending time on encyclopedias is an interesting vice, I must say I'm guilty of it myself. But if it takes wrapping yourself up into knowledge then I can guarantee you that you're better off.
I see you're engaged...Congratulations! By the way, we're working on it :) GnarlyLikeWhoa (talk) 23:36, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I hope you get engaged soon. After I meet my feonsay, I have changed. I fell in love and I wanted to change for my feonsay. I even moved to a deferent city and stop talking to the homeboys. See, my feonsay is not into the gang stuff and it helps. I needed someone to keep me on the right track. I do care what people think about me because I do not want to be written off as a Sureño who wasted his damn life. We all make mistakes and we all have experienced our own trials and tribulations. I may have lived a life of crime and gang banging which was not beneficial to society. We all have baggage, but I want to be judged on the life that I am creating NOW. I often find myself drinking to relieve myself of the reality of the life i've led, homies i've lost, and the conclusion to my life. when my mental feels like it's going to burst from the stress, frustration, regrets, and reality of things that have happened in my life, i buss open a 40 oz. with every sip that quenches my soul, i allow my nerves to settle, and my mind to wonder. this is how i escape my daily fears. Do i get judged? well, i say do not judge me for wanting to stop the pain i feel for those lost during the war, but judge me for the pain i choose not to cause. I appreciated living somewhere where I do not have to worry about anything.--Zink Dawg -- 19:10, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit count

[edit]

Your user page shows you've made over 7000 edit on Wikipedia? Your user count shows 291? Paranormal Skeptic (talk) 20:37, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I do believe your comments belong in the free speech box on my front page. Anyway, for someone who clearly has the tools he needs for not being malicious (re: your first userbox), I see it is rather challenging. GnarlyLikeWhoa (talk) 20:41, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what you're saying here? I looked up your user count, when I saw you had a recent Welcome tag. Your user page states you've made over 7000, and I can only see 291.
As for both my GWOT medals and Iraq Campaign Medals, I received them for a) Being in service post 9/11 b) Going to Iraq c) Going to Iraq during OIF 01-03 (The very first rotation when we launched cruise missiles). That makes me eligible for GWOT, GWOT Exp, and Iraq Campaign Medals. Paranormal Skeptic (talk) 21:05, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You don't answer to me, I was just making an observation. I just had no idea it is possible to recieve that particular combination participating in only one campaign. As someone who doled out medals and wrote orders I found it hard to believe. But if you're saying it's the truth, that's fine, I was just observing.
Truth be told I had another account. I'd still be using it if I remembered the info. I started editing briefly years ago and just started back up recently after seeing all the politically charged articles. Refer me to all the Wiki rules and regs, but that does nothing. You wanted to know, believe me or don't. I'll do the same. GnarlyLikeWhoa (talk) 21:11, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
After looking over the new layouts of who get's what, apparently, I'm not eligible for both. However, my DD-214 still has all three. I'll just leave it. I wore them to the 4ID welcome home celebration, and I wore them to the 10th Cav Ball post-Iraq.
While I don't really care, I was just curious about the edit count. No big deal, anyone who really cares can see what they need to if they have Twinkle installed. Cheers! Paranormal Skeptic (talk) 21:18, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
