New main page draft

[edit]

Hello! I noticed your negative comments regarding the proposed redesign, and I'd like to invite you to review a radically revamped revision, and to post your opinion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Usability/Main Page/Draft#Proposed_version. Thanks! —David Levy 22:00, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I commented on the draft as you've wished. Good luck with your draft. You're one more step further than the main draft since you don't have the "cute" things there. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Usability/Main Page/Draft#Proposed_version. --Quinlan Vos 22:25, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Did you try searching MEDLINE, PubMed, Entrez ? Jclerman 01:50, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I tried MEDLINE but of course I couldn't take anything out of it because, well it was about all humans, etc. I'll try PubMed and Entrez now.--Quinlan Vos 01:51, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, I found several articles on this on Entrez, thanks a lot!--Quinlan Vos 03:25, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit on Duman article

[edit]

Hi, Quinlan Vos (shall I say Master Vos?). On Duman (band) article, you changed Template:Infobox musical artist into Template:Infobox Band. Both templates can be used for musical bands and I like Template:Infobox musical artist better, since it is associated with Wikipedia:WikiProject Musicians and tries to merge and standardize all musician templates. I don't know what it was that you dislike in the musical artist template but you could care more and at least transfer the link of NR1 Müzik, official site of the band halimizduman.com, and the description of the members' role in the band into the other infobox. Regards, Atilim Gunes Baydin 12:55, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Master, thank you for your response. Sinirlenmedim abi, neden sinirleneyim? Regards, Atilim Gunes Baydin 16:03, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the Turkish translation --Cat out 15:02, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re: robert college - kingdom robertea

[edit]

Pek zamanım yok aslında ama bos zamanımda son bir iki haftadır Robert College uzerine birseyler ekliyorum. Regarding Kingdom Robertea, maalesef birileri a high school magazine is not that important diyip sildi.

  • American College for Girls, Robert Yuksek/Academy/College gecen articlelara Robert College linki eklemek.
  • Alumni categorysini biraz genisletmek ve notable alumnida Mehmet Emin Karamehmet, Cem Boyner gibi articleı olmamaması şok edici kişilerin articlelarini olusturmak.
  • Alumni olupda category tagi olmayan kisilere tag eklemek.
  • Robert College articleında FAF SC TIFES gibi parcalari doldurmak.
  • ve son olarak (but not least) bu articleı WikiProjectSchools Featured Article yapmak icin nominate etmek.

Benim yapamayacagim bazi gorsel seylerde yardimci olabilirsen sevinirim. Mesela birkac fotograf ekleyebilirsin. Chemde bi experiment yaparken, child study centerda cocuklar, gould disinda birkac bina fotografi, library, feyyaz berker attic (bilmiyor olabilirsin ama orada bir biology museum var.

Maybe you can engage friends at the school. I'm open to any solid proposals (for new articles, sections, etc.) Bu arada su bogazici uzerine yazanlarin her Robert mezununu bogazicine gitmis gibi (then Robert College) Bogazici University gibi yanlislarini duzeltmek gerekiyor. 1971den once Bogazici mezunu olamayacagini birilerinin bu duzeltmeleri yaparak gostermesi gerekiyor. Fikirlerini bekliyorum. Maestro 19:49, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tomris Uyar

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tomris Uyar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Selket Talk 18:37, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Moving Denial of the Armenian Genocide

[edit]

I have suggested that Denial of the Armenian Genocide should be moved to Denial of the Armenian Genocide allegations. I assume that you would be interested in the debate and would like to submit your opinion on the proposal. Up for some translation?

[edit]

You had volunteered at one point to help with translations...there are three articles, Pickles grubu, Karapinar , hekimhan, Bartın River, currently listed at WP:PNT and will be deleted if they aren't translated soon. AKRadecki 00:38, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion

[edit]

I have placed a WP:PROD template on the article List of radio stations in Turkey citing notability concerns. Best regards, Navou banter 21:17, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of radio stations in Turkey, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that List of radio stations in Turkey satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of radio stations in Turkey and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of List of radio stations in Turkey during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Navou banter 13:56, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Baba Zula, as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' (diff). Thanks. — Komusou talk @ 03:03, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Literature of Turkey template

[edit]

Hi! My interest in editing that template was to correct the Turkish spelling of some authors and to establish the wikilinks. I am not an expert in literature and at the moment, I really do not know what is the criteria to include an author and how to reorganize the bulk there. Do you have any idea? Cheers.
