Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that my edit to the University of Malta page in connection with the new University of Malta Logo was not a vandalism to the UM Page. I have effected this change officially in the name of L'Università ta' Malta (University of Malta). Kindly consider this edit to be final. If you need any further clarifications, please contact me at secretary.web@um.edu.mt

@SecWeb: Hello Cynthia and thank you for your message. Wikipedia infoboxes for universities have the school's official coat of arms in the top portion, and any branding logos or wordmarks in the lower portion (see University of Toronto, Harvard University, University of Oxford). Please also note that since you are a paid employee of the university's web editorial board, you are required under the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use to disclose that you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia (see WP:PAID for more information).
Additionally, in your message you state "Kindly consider this edit to be final". There is no such thing as a "final" edit on Wikipedia, articles are constantly being edited by editors from around the world. Wikipedia is not a static website hosting service, any content submitted to Wikipedia can be edited, used, and redistributed by anyone. Persons or organizations that are the subject of an article do not own the articles about them, and have no special rights to dictate what the article may say (for more information see WP:OWNERSHIP).
I hope this has addressed your concerns, if you have any further questions please reply to me here or feel free to visit the Wikipedia Teahouse which is staffed by volunteers dedicated to answering new users' questions. Cheers, RA0808 talkcontribs 19:50, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Ordinaire

Hey,

Made a change explicitly mentioning Josh Eubank and Quinn Kimsey-White as important collaborators in the early days of Ordinaire. No reference, I guess, but I'm the owner and think it would fill a gap in the history. Understand if this isn't the place to make that happen. Also, mentioned that Quentin Jeanroy has now taken over all buying duties. No reference, despite my attempt to get articles to name Quentin as manager and buyer. For the change in the Brumaire section, Josh, Matt, and Quinn are all mentioned in the SF Chronicle as co-organizers. Esther mistakenly said I was primary organizer in the article. We all share equal duties. Thanks!

Hello Bradford and thanks for your message! Please understand that because Wikipedia has a policy on verifiability of information (see WP:V), all information on here must be cited from a reliable source. If there is any form of reliable source, even Ordinaire's official website, then you can add the information again with a citation to the source (see WP:CITE for an overview of how to do so). Otherwise, even though you are the owner, we can't re-add that content. Hope this clarifies things! If you have any other questions please feel free to ask me or the experienced editors at the Wikipedia Teahouse who are experienced in guiding newer editors. Regards, RA0808 talkcontribs 21:00, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Excellent. I will add website as a source where it applies. many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.50.220.12 (talk) 21:16, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I think you might've falsely identified an edit as vandalism, it looks constructive to me. Is there something I'm missing, or WP policy on where links point to that I should know about? That user 66.215.84.193 seems to modify a lot of links, but not in a bad way, and it looks like they might be getting flagged as a vandal a lot. - Carl (Seaplant (talk) 21:34, 30 April 2018 (UTC))

@Seaplant: I did revert them a few times, but didn't issue any sort of warning. After reverting a few of their edits I took a second look and saw that their changes were not disruptive... so I've stopped rv'ing them now. RA0808 talkcontribs 21:36, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Ok! Thanks for helping me understand what was going on there, and for your anti-vandal work. Any reason why I shouldn't put the link in Demographics of California back to what they changed it to? Seaplant (talk) 21:43, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
@Seaplant: No objections from me, feel free! RA0808 talkcontribs 21:45, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi RA0808,I think you might've falsely identified an edit as vandalism. I'm working with a group of university students to edit the page to ensure it is accurate and to a high standard. We have copied all the original data into a separate document which we will be replacing with scientific data and appropriate referencing Youstinat (talk) 00:06, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

@Youstinat: Thanks for the clarification. In the future it would be best to include information like that in the edit summary to avoid confusion, as many people do try to vandalize Wikipedia by removing large segments of content. Happy editing! RA0808 talkcontribs 00:09, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
I have also added the {{In use}} template to notify other editors. Please ensure you remove it when you are finished. RA0808 talkcontribs 00:11, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

Kristin Kreuj

I forgot to add the right link. But the edit was not a mistake and I did leave an explanation. JesseM26 (talk) 18:25, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

@JesseM26: Thanks for your message. As you may have noted in the auto-generated warning template... simply giving an explanation is not sufficient, it must be an adequate explanation. Your explanation of "fixed a summary" did not adequately explain why you removed detail from the section. If you continue to have an issue with the way that section is worded please discuss at the article's talk page. Hope this clarifies things, cheers! RA0808 talkcontribs 18:29, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
Okay, understood. My apologies. I have a direct source for the information I changed but I can't really get into that out of respect for the individual's privacy. Hope that's alright. JesseM26 (talk) 18:39, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
@JesseM26: I appreciate wanting to help, but please understand that all sources on Wikipedia must be reliable and published (see WP:V) so the "direct source" won't be usable. Facts, allegations, and ideas without a reliable and published source can't be used on Wikipedia because it goes against Wikipedia's "no original research" policy (see WP:NOR). RA0808 talkcontribs 18:42, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
The extent of the info that is currently on the page about NXIVM is not relevant to the actress and is offensive to her reputation because it has been falsely protrayed by an individual who is misrepresenting the facts. That is the only reason I have shortened it. I am not sure how editing it to the direct facts as it protrays to her, is considered at "disruption." JesseM26 (talk) 18:45, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
@JesseM26: As I've said, please discuss on the talk page if you feel the content as it stands now is not appropriate. At the moment the section provides context about why a perceived connection between Kreuk and NXIVM is notable, and her statement that she left in 2013 and did not witness any illegal activity. Hi. I noticed you uploaded the image for Highland Farms. I was wondering if you could do the same for Coppa's Fresh Market, as I split the page; they are two separate companies. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:00, 6 May 2018 (UTC)

@Vaselineeeeeeee: Happy to! It's been uploaded to File:Coppa's Fresh Market logo.png and I've taken the liberty of adding it to the new Coppa's article. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:19, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

Welland Tribune

Just wanted to let you know that I've added a bunch of further sourcing and history to your draft on the Welland Tribune, and have gone ahead and moved it directly into articlespace. Bearcat (talk) 20:20, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

@Bearcat: Awesome, thank you so much for your additions! RA0808 talkcontribs 20:53, 16 May 2018 (UTC)

What is wrong with you? Who do you think you are? Regards, Sherman — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.90.90.207 (talk) 20:21, 17 May 2018‎ (UTC)

Hello Sherman, please remain civil when interacting with other editors. Taking such a hostile tone is counterproductive to the encyclopedia. RA0808 talkcontribs 20:23, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

Secularism In Iraq

Hi there, I am the creator of the Wikipedia page Secularism_in_Iraq. Unfortunately, you have been nominating my article for deletion. I created that page with the hope that someone will improve the content. It is disappointing that you care more interested in deleting the article, than improving it. You probably have a personal interest in that regard. Delete the page if you want, and I hope you get a medal from Wikipedia for doing that. What a shame. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beston77 (talkcontribs) 22:03, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

@Beston77: Hello Beston77, and thanks for your message. Your page being nominated for deletion is not a personal attack against you, it simply means the page is not suitable according to Wikipedia's agreed-upon rules. As I mentioned in my earlier message to you: Secularism in Iraq was nominated for deletion because the article just appears to be your personal thoughts and opinions on the topic based on what the provided sources say. Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought but rather collects the opinions, writings, etc of already established experts.
In future, please remain civil when interacting with other editors. Accusing other editors of having personal agendas or vendettas is counterproductive to Wikipedia's goals. Comment on content, not contributors. Best, RA0808 talkcontribs 21:03, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
