Image copyright problem with Image:KiddierideWakuWakuPatrolcar.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:KiddierideWakuWakuPatrolcar.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 12:28, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
- Safe to delete. I did not use the picture. I will try to go to the amusement arcade with a unit of the machine and photograph it myself.
License tagging for Image:Pastelcolors boot.PNG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Pastelcolors boot.PNG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:08, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Lpsonyalee.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Lpsonyalee.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, RAMChYLD! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule img[0-9]*\.imageshack\.us/img[0-9]*/.*\.jpg, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 06:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Alright. I'll move the image into wikipedia itself.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ssc-bbf-3inarow.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ssc-bbf-3inarow.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Strawberry Shortcake (sex act)
[edit]Whatever's going on with the main Strawberry Shortcake article, please don't post new pages for unsourced weird sex acts. We get way too many of those as it is. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 14:52, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- "I read about it in a forum" isn't a reliable independent source confirming the notability of the act. For an idea of what kind of sources are needed, see (if you dare) Dirty Sanchez. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 14:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say to keep removing it from the Strawberry Shortcake article. If someone posts a properly sourced article on the sex act, then we can put in a disambiguation line in the main article. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 15:04, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Apple Dumplin'.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Apple Dumplin'.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 04:49, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Apc.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Strawberry Shortcake
[edit]I've been trying to edit the Strawberry Shortcake page and for some reaon it won't take the information. There are a few simple changes that I'm trying to make. The SSC Convention address is present, but I'd like to add The Strawberry Patch address. Also there are a few minor changes that need to be made...such as Banana Twirl and Banana Candy aren't the same character with new names. Also some of the info on the licensees needs slight changes. It looks like you are changing back some of this information after I've edited it. Christina —Preceding unsigned comment added by Imchristina2 (talk • contribs) 15:25, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Confidence trick (tv and movies) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. - Hi, I thank you for your suggestion. As I was a fan of both F/X: The Series and Mission: Impossible (although I'm not a fan of the Tom Cruise movies), I do know the contents of the F/X series, and if I recall correctly, they do use cons in the climax to lure the criminals out to the police. Thus I'm sure I wasn't unconstructive, just trying to be helpful. If you have proof that I'm wrong tho, kindly just let me know. Thanks. RAM (talk) 10:43, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Please remember to mark your edits as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' - Okay, then, what do I need to do? Attach a screenshot of said PDA and a picture of a real Hiptop? Images of Hiptops are available on the Hiptop Wiki, and if you watch the show often enough you'd realize that it looks like a Hiptop too. RAM (talk) 14:44, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Item one, I do watch the show--sadly enough, but we'll leave my opinion out of it. Which brings me to Item Two. Your assertion that it "looks like a Hiptop" is an opinion; until you can find notable, verifiable coverage in an outside, editorially-monitored source, it's WP:OR. Even if you added pictures, anyone who looked at the PDA and the Hiptop (and what on earth is a Hiptop, anyway? Is that one of those other things we don't have in the Midwest, like Shoney's and Sonic Drive-Ins?)would be giving their opinion when they say "Hm, they look alike!". The comparison/parallel between the two has gotta be in print somewhere verifiable, is my point. And honestly, I'll be surprised if such a source exists--mainly because I can't imagine the "Super Why" audience having much to say about PDA's of any sort. GJC 15:22, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, actually, we don't have them Hiptops over here either. I knew it by it's T-Mobile marketing name- The T-Mobile Sidekick, which I picked up from a magazine about cellphones. When I saw the show, it hit me that the device looked extremely similar if not identical. I looked up T-Mobile Sidekick on WP, which brought me to the Hiptop page. But ok, if you feel it inappropriate, go ahead and do as you see right. RAM (talk) 13:58, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

The file File:Mariowarppipe.PNG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

[edit]The article PowerTouch has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies)'s section for products. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
