Can I ask you if you are Dr. Ronnie McGhee or if you know him in some way? If so, you should read the following Wikipedia guidelines on conflict of interest and advertising in relation to your editing. In general it is better to let others to the writing for you in these cases. Sorry if I am barking up the wrong tree here!! --Slp1 20:03, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:MISA2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MISA2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hi RLM2007

[edit]

As you will see above, some concerns have been expressed about these articles and about whether they are just an attempt at advertising. In addition, there is the possibility of a conflict of interest in your editing. The articles may be deleted as advertising, or they may not, but in any case you do need to sit back and read the Wikipedia rules about spam and advertising in articles, since your additions of mentions of these newly published tests in so many articles (particularly as a "prominent examples" [1][2]!) and some of the redirects you created look like spam to other editors here. Many of these links and redirects have been changed as a result. Please be careful about any future edits but don't feel discouraged: it is hard to know all the rules around here straightaway and we all have made mistakes! You can leave a comment or a question on this page if you need help in any way --Slp1 15:08, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
