Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/PeerBaba, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

June 2018

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jibran1998. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Altaf Hussain (Pakistani politician), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Jibran1998 (talk) 19:02, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jibran1998:I have not added any unsourced text. Please review it. Please point out unsourced content.--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 19:08, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Ridhej.dhhes: These sources are just for warrants, there is no mention of any trail so how can mention conviction. And you cannot label in infobox and every paragraph that he is a criminal. Its against Wikipedia Neutrality policy, you are also vandalizing Muttahida Qaumi Movement without proper sources. And big edits require discussion- Jibran1998 (talk) 19:18, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Jibran1998:Criminal can be used for convicted and the source for conviction and sentencing also exist. You can start a discussion on talk page. If others users agree with you then it will be removed. Until then it is totally sourced content. Please don't remove it without discussion.--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 19:21, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Muttahida Qaumi Movement

[edit]

If there is a new party in the UK named Muttahida Qaumi Movement then it is a separate party. Muttahida Qaumi Movement is a registered pakistani party with elected representatives on both national and state-level. Further disruptive edits to the article might lead to you getting reported for vandalism. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 23:38, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Vif12vf:Can you name some “representatives on both national and state-level” of MQM/MQM-London with a source? All of them are part of new parties created from split e.g: MQM-P/PIB. This party is not active in Pakistan and it has been now registered in UK. Can you prove your claims with sources.--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 23:57, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The article of the national assembly (dissolved late May) shows MQM as being a part of the opposition. The party is also the second largest party in the Sindh assembly. Furthermore, by law a party may not move country. Also, by wikipedia definition, if a party were to move country and register in that country, it is to be regarded as an entirely new party. Thus if there now is an MQM-party in the UK, it requires a new article. A party-article connected to another country may not change country or be re-purposed. If MQM in Pakistan dissolves then the article will be regarded as the article of a defunct party, and may not be appropriated for a successor/split party. Thus by these guidelines, the article must remain as is! Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 00:28, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Vif12vf:article of national assembly and senate are not updated. The politicians mentioned are part of MQM-P or PIB. As I said you can provide me with a source. And this party is registered in UK for political activities on Pakistan not to join UK politics. So it should be like I edited or like you say as a defunct party. Search about politicians mentioned in NS Senate articles. They are part of new split parties. I made this editing after researching. Please explain how im still wrong?--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 00:42, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know the national assembly page is not updated, but any article for a party cannot change country. If the party has re-registered as a british party then it is by wikipedia standards a different/new party. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 01:00, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Vif12vf:See these sources. defunct, party’s dissociation from Altaf Hussain and this says that its now registered in Pakistan. Now should it changed to defunct with separate articles of factions or it should be changed to UK party? There's no doubt left its defunct in Pakistan. Registration source says it was registered in UK because earlier it was working in UK as a Pakistani party now that it is defunct they had to register it.--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 01:25, 25 June 2018 (UTC) Can you create an article for new party using registration source? Just a stub?--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 01:27, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
As these articles describe the new party as being the former London-faction, it needs a new article. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 11:05, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Saqib: your thoughts?--Ridhej.dhhes (talk) 22:02, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Vif12vf. @Ridhej.dhhes: you better stop your disruptive editing. --Saqib (talk) 13:35, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jibran1998 and Kashmiri: Should this newbie and problematic user continue to be disruptive even after a warnings, let me know and I will take him to WP:ANB. --Saqib (talk) 14:01, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Saqib: take him to WP:ANB, his edits are very disruptive and sources are from developing stories which have changed over time and his edits seems to be more politically motivated- Jibran1998 (talk) 15:42, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
you have moved so many articles to titles which are not even made official yet! Jibran1998 (talk) 20:45, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Saqib: The editor clearly can't stop in their disruptive editing, and flouts WP:ENGAGE. I agree this needs to be brought up at WP:AN. — kashmīrī TALK 21:18, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Muttahida Qaumi Movement

[edit]

I have reverted your edits to

because they damage the infobox at Muttahida Qaumi Movement. Consensus for these changes is needed at the talk page of the article. Johnuniq (talk) 23:26, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
