Category:Companies listed on the London Stock Exchange

[edit]

Hi - Thanks for adding the category "Companies listed on the London Stock Exchange" to certain articles but why are you inserting "2" behind it? Dormskirk (talk) 19:20, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, because this is what I found on an article. What is the significance of that please? --Rubelantri (talk) 19:21, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I am concerned, it is wrong and should be removed. Thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 19:22, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the information. I will remove it. Regards, --Rubelantri (talk) 19:24, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great. Also you don't need the LSE template in the first line: the infobox has now been adapted so it can be placed there. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 19:26, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Thank you again! --Rubelantri (talk) 19:27, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not particularly relevant, but the nomination wasn't from an ip account. Your text basically told us that it was a claims management company and belonged to the trade sector body. You also presented as fact, rather than a claim, that it assists consumers to make compensation claims against financial institutions Your references mainly seem to be about Wonga rather than this company, and there are no real facts about the company, which doesn't appear to have headquarters, employees, income or expenditure.

You must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:

  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.

FWIW, the deleted text follows. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:02, 22 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LCM Partners moved to draftspace

[edit]

I've moved LCM Partners back to draft space, as it has every appearance of being WP:UPE, and definitely needs to go through AfC review by an experienced editor. Anyone who wants to can submit it for review using the Submit button on the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:46, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
