User talk:Rwerner
Welcome to Wikipedia, the greatest encyclopedia on Earth!
You seem to be off to a good start. Hopefully you will soon join the vast army of Wikipediholics. You may wish to review the welcome page, tutorial, and stylebook, as well as the avoiding common mistakes and Wikipedia is not pages. The Wikipedia directory is also quite useful. In addition, if you made any edits before getting an account, you may wish to assign those to your username.
By the way, an important tip: To sign comments on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This automatically adds your name and the time after your comments.
Hope to see you around the Wiki! And if you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to contact me on my talk page! - ElfAnd about those uploaded photos
[edit]Thanks for the photo contributions. Wikipedia needs to know whether uploaded images are free for distribution, because all the text is and it's really confusing if some of the images aren't free use as well. I'm going to add the notation {{unverified}} to each of your photos until you've identified at least the source (where they came from or who the photgrapher is, etc.) and under what license they're released--e.g., {{GFDL}} (which is the license under which all Wikipedia is distributed) or {{PD}} (for Public Domain); otherwise, we can't use them on WP. If you have any questions, just ask on my talk page. Elf | Talk 22:25, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Image source/licensing for Image:Brian Burke and Jennifer Mather.jpg
[edit]The image you uploaded, Image:Brian Burke and Jennifer Mather.jpg, has no source information. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. Unless the copyright status is provided, the image will be marked for deletion on 24 October 2005.

The file File:Ivy League 3D Map.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Orphaned map.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Rob13Talk 03:09, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
