Thanks for your assistance in taking this to WP:GA. Let's look for an even better season next year though.

Date formats in references

[edit]

SCS100, I see you do a lot of work updating the current Michigan football articles. Great work. One little item to keep in mind. Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers, we should be using Month Day, Year formats for dates in reference instead of YYYY-MM-DD formats. Thanks and keep up the good work. Jweiss11 (talk) 18:19, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. Thanks for the head's up! SCS100 (talk) 18:22, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

College football categorization effort

[edit]
The Categorisation Barnstar
In the effort to update the "future" tags to "current" tags in over 250 college football articles, you went far above and beyond what was asked by personally taking on more than 150 of the articles. For that, I grant you the Categorization Barnstar for your efforts (though perhaps a Categorization Helmet Sticker would be more fitting). OCNative (talk) 08:02, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of Michigan State Spartans football seasons

[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you edited many Big 10 football articles and I was interested in whether or not you want to help me edit a article on a list of Michigan State Spartans football seasons. For more information, click here. Thanks. Thomsonmg2000 (talk) 20:53, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Depends on which article it is. I have to warn you though, I am a Michigan student, so State won't be my area of expertise. I'm more good for cleanup type deals with other schools. SCS100 (talk) 22:01, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to have a cleanup type to look the article. Linking the seasons/bowl games to the individual articles can be tedious and it would make it a little easier if someone could help me with the linking.Thomsonmg2000 (talk) 01:23, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, that I can do. I'll also work on the Michigan one when I have time, which will likely be this weekend. SCS100 (talk) 01:47, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of Michigan Wolverines football seasons

[edit]

While we're on the topic of season lists, do you want to start on a list of Michigan Wolverines football seasons article? I can provide a page to start: User:Thomsonmg2000/List of Michigan Wolverines football seasons. Thomsonmg2000 (talk) 01:27, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Original Barnstar
Thank for your contributions to the List of Michigan Wolverines football seasons article. You did an impressive job with (what seems like) your first seasons list. Thomsonmg2000 (talk) 01:05, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging

[edit]

SCS100, nice work the other day knocking out all that tagging for WikiProject College football. I've got some similar tagging projects for WikiProject American football and WikiProject Sports that I've been working on. Let me know if you've interesting in helping out and I can explain more. Thanks. Jweiss11 (talk) 02:08, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for offering to help. The subcategories of the following categories should be tagged with {{WikiProject Sports}}:
I've tagged a few of these here and there so far, but most still need to be tagged. Many of these have been tagged for their respective state projects. The sports tag should be placed above those. If you can knock out any piece of this, that would be awesome. Thanks again. Jweiss11 (talk) 03:02, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
For Category:College athletes in the United States by team, I mean that each of the 171 subcategories, e.g. Category:Akron Zips athletes, should be tagged. Don't worry about the subcategories and pages within Category:Akron Zips athletes, etc. Jweiss11 (talk) 03:11, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Sports Barnstar
SCS100, for your continued eagerness to jump on tagging efforts for sports-related projects, I award you this barnstar. Your work and enthusiasm contribute greatly to the collaborative process. Jweiss11 (talk) 01:29, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maize Rage

[edit]

Is there anything here that could bolster the article?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:45, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Maize Rage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A seating section populated by students is not notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Assessment backlog for 2012 season articles

[edit]

SCS100, happy new year! Now that the college football season has ended, there's a backlog of 2012 season articles still rated as Current or Future class that need to be re-rated on the quality scale; see Category:College football articles by quality. I know you've been eager to help out with little projects like this in the past. If you could chip in again here, that would be much appreciated. Thanks and all the best, Jweiss11 (talk) 08:41, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 Michigan Wolverines football team, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Back (sports) and Heritage High School. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
