If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nathan Sanders requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @WikiDan61: Could I please have the information on Nathan Sanders back for reference? I created the page but it was deleted and I would like to improve it. Thank you.

I can't do that as I'm not an administrator. DGG is the admin who deleted the page; perhaps he can send you the deleted copy. Alternatively, you an request a copy from any of the admins in Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to provide copies of deleted articles. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:25, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@WikiDan61: Thank you! I'll try that.

@DGG: Hi there, I was wondering if it was possible to have my deleted page for "Nathan Sanders" back as I would like to improve and reference it. Thank you.

Normally I would, but I consider it pure advertising , with no indication of notability, and I do not think it improvable. I remind you of our rules on Conflict of Interest. If you are associated with the organization, either directly or as a paid editor, you must declare this. See our Terms of Use, particularly with respect to paid contributions without disclosure

In addition, Wikipedia may not be used for the purposes of promotion-- we are not a directory. Our articles describe the subject, not advocate for it or praise it, and are directed not to prospective clients of contributors, but to the general public who may want the sort of information found in encyclopdias. See also our rules on what makes an organization notable. DGG ( talk ) 17:39, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@DGG: Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I appreciate your feedback. I wanted to make sure it was known that the "Nathan Sanders" page I created a couple days ago is not the same as the one created in 2010 that was deleted for explicit content. I'm not sure if that factors in at all, but I figured it perhaps should be disclosed. Moreover, do you consider the promotional tone or the seemingly lack of notability the main issue? I would really hope to improve the article (I know you said it doesn't seem possible) and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks again

Speedy deletion nomination of Bridgenex

[edit]

Hello Schiappetta,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bridgenex for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 17:44, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Explaining the problem

[edit]

Hi, Schiapetta! Is your head spinning from all the "reject" notices you got about your draft? Mine too. Here's what appears to be the current problem: there are two "live" drafts right now: Draft:Bridgenex and User:Schiappetta/Bridgenex. I suggest you focus on one of the drafts, transfer whatever you want from the other one into it, and then ask to have the other draft deleted. You can do that by posting {{Db-author}} at the top of the page, or simply by blanking the page. --MelanieN (talk) 21:09, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@MelanieN: Thank you Melanie! I hadn't realized I turned in two drafts. Thanks for the help I appreciate it. :) --schiappetta

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bridgenex, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages LSI and Hardware. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
