The Troubles ArbCom

Hi Fozzie! Thanks for your msg. See my reply at User talk:BrownHairedGirl#The_Troubles_ArbCom. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 17:25, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

You have mail. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 18:23, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
No problem with that, BHG. :) SirFozzie 18:26, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

You have my support for your proposal. Tyrenius 02:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

a bunch of (originally German paid for) terrorists and hooligans is how British Nationalist User:TharkunColl described the men and women who fought for freedom 1916 - 1922. How long more must we endure this while not being allowed to reply in kind? (I have tried to contact Rockpocket in regard to Thark but he seems to be gone AWOL). (Sarah777 23:45, 3 October 2007 (UTC))

I support your suggestion, SirFozzie. I'm not sure how well it will go down with the "admins are biased" crowd, though. (Sorry for getting to the party late, I was away for a few days) Rockpocket 02:04, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Needless to say, you also have my support on this one :) - Alison 02:34, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Quick favour

Can you give a brief gist of the contents of the deleted page here please? Thanks. One Night In Hackney303 20:48, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Colin Cowherd

It appears the annon editor is back w/ a different IP, adding back in "Colin's name is the coward. I just reverted it back, but I'm sure he/she will do it again. Darry2385 01:49, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Bring a shovel I'm in a hole

Fozz could you check this out for us [1]. They have been warned already about this [2] already by Ty. I have explained all that need to be said on the subject [3], and they have continued to both remove my advice, and accuse me of vandalism, as can be seen by the edit summaries. I have left warning templates on their page about accusing me of abusing socks [4], [5], they know based on Ty’s advice that this is considered a personal attack. Can you please sort it out for us. As you can see from their post here you will fall into the category of one of my friends in high places [6], but on a lighter note they also made an accusation here [7], which should bring a smile. --Domer48 20:13, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Cookiez!!

Tucker Max

I don't know if you remember, but you were a good arbiter during the Colin Cowherd dispute earlier this year, so I wanted to see if you could check out the Tucker Max page for me. The dispute centers on how to reference a television deal he had with Comedy Central that is no longer going forward because he is apparently focusing on creating a movie about his exploits. The article was edited to reflect the fact that he cancelled the show as opposed to the network cancelling the show. This was reverted a few times, and when I apparently convinced the reverters that it was clear that he instigated the cancellation, they decided to just take the reference out of the article because "it wasn't happening anymore." I think that is faulty, as the point is to contain referenced and factually accurate information in the article, and this is a documented attempt at bringing a show to television.

If you don't have time, I understand, I just thought I 'd throw out the request. Thanks. Bluefield 03:56, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

I took a whack at it, Bluefield :) SirFozzie 11:01, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

The above named Arbitration case has closed. The Arbitration Committee decided that [a]ny user who hereafter engages in edit-warring or disruptive editing on these or related articles may be placed on Wikipedia:Probation by any uninvolved administrator. This may include any user who was a party to this case, or any other user after a warning has been given. The Committee also decided to uplift Vintagekits' indefinite block at the same time.
