April 2013

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits to Big data has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thanks for that, it's very interesting to see the adoption of Scala in suitworld.

Your table will probably be deleted soon, by some teenage admin with a rulebook and no knowledge of the subject. Welcome to Wikipedia. However it was appreciated by at least one Java developer! Andy Dingley (talk) 10:35, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article 9223372036854775783 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails Wikipedia:Notability (numbers)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Scala Stored Procedure, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 15:42, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Siskus. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Scala Stored Procedure".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Scala Stored Procedure}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:02, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Induced error?

[edit]

Hi there, I noticed you reverted a fix I made to the IPA in the article Chang'e 2, with the notation "induced error". I wonder what you mean. I'm assuming the IPA there refers to English phonology, where stressed schwa is basically a contradiction in terms. /ʌ/ in an open syllable is extremely marginal, but it can occur (at least in some dialects) in words like "uh" and "duh"; English /ʌ/ is presumably the best way of pronouncing this Chinese sound. Now, if we're using IPA for Mandarin, that won't be written as schwa either; the symbol in question would be ɤ (and the rest of the word's pronunciation key would be different). Thanks in advance for your clarification! Q·L·1968 17:03, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, never mind—I see that you changed it back to ʌ anyway. Carry on! Q·L·1968 18:33, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
