Information icon Hello, I'm Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Barrister Babu, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300 (talk) 16:44, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Smsslove. I added the plot and the cast of the sequel of Barrister Babu, (which was there until a few weeks ago) Smsslove (talk) 01:23, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Rejoy2003. I noticed that you recently removed content from Aishwarya Sharma without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Rejoy2003(talk) 13:57, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That was a mistake. I was about to add more detail about her latest show but my system got off. Smsslove (talk) 10:10, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The article is filled with unreliable citations. Smsslove (talk) 14:45, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Neil Bhatt, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you would like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Hello Smsslove. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Ayesha singh, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Smsslove. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Smsslove|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 11:48, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits.
I just make edits in order to contribute to Wikipedia. Smsslove (talk) 14:36, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you create an inappropriate page. You remain unfamiliar with the requirements of articles in mainspace. Please use (and respect) AFC, or you risk losing access to edit non draft articles. Star Mississippi 13:00, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Refer to the article "Mohit Kumar (actor)" which I created and there was no issue regarding the same. Issues only raised when I edited the drafts created by someone else. Blocking from editing is preventing us from further contribution. Smsslove (talk) 14:04, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As you can see, I never made any wrong edits after the warning. I would like to get a bit of guidance in something: are we allowed to publish the article soon after completing it or are there any other procedures? Smsslove (talk) 16:10, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Every account should only be used by one person.
There is no requirement to use AfC, but I believe you should because you are not yet experienced enough with the intricacies of editing here and there are issues with the article about Kumar that have been raised. Star Mississippi 02:13, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I understand. Thank you for your guidance and sincere apology for my ignorance. Smsslove (talk) 02:34, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I got a message recently after one article of mine got published:
The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. Most new articles start out as Stub-Class or Start-Class and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.
Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk.
If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.
Thanks again, and happy editing!
So what do you think? Smsslove (talk) 02:38, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
as I said, you're not required to use AfC, no one who is extended confirmed is. However I think you would benefit from more experience. It's not an easy process. Using AfC only helps you create stronger articles. Star Mississippi 03:01, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thank you so much. Smsslove (talk) 05:34, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I can't under stand why this is happening. There are many other actors and actresses with the same sources but their article have been published. Smsslove (talk) 03:51, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
many other articles exist.
Please stop re-submitting it without improving or you will be blocked. Star Mississippi 03:58, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
After the article had been rejected two days ago, the article was edited, added proper citations and details. Still it was rejected without a proper explanation. Smsslove (talk) 04:16, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It was declined, not rejected. @Tails Wx explained exactly why. Continuing to resubmit it doesn't change the outcome if you don't improve the article. Star Mississippi 04:23, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have made proper citations using reliable sources. On referring other articles, I found that they have used exactly the same citations for the biography of those people but their article is published. Smsslove (talk) 04:49, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Multiple editors have told you why the sourcing is insufficient. Adding more that don't address the issues of depth, nor the community consensus isn't going to help. You have yet to address your focus on this article either. Star Mississippi 13:41, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, I would advice you to refer to the article Aishwarya Sharma which is poorly cited and shows no relevant works other than the show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Smsslove (talk) 06:30, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you believe Sharma isn't notable, you're welcome to nominate that for deletion. Star Mississippi 12:50, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I want a proper explanation to why this has been rejected. Smsslove (talk) 03:52, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Star Mississippi: please note that the article has now been copied and pasted to article space despite being declined. Ayesha singh was used (note the lower case for the surname to circumvent the salting of Ayesha Singh). In my view, this is completely unacceptable. A tag has been placed on Ayesha singh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ayesha Singh (3rd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I was creating the articles for actresses in the List of Top Television Actresses and Ayesha Singh was the first one. I found a draft and submitted the draft for revaluation after adding citations but it kept on getting declined. Being a newbie to this field, I thought it was the fault of the draft that was prepared earlier. Thus, I created a new article. The same thing happened while I was editing the article Durga Aur Charu.
This is not a case of paid advocacy. Smsslove (talk) 11:55, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What made you decide to create the article at Ayesha singh even though you clearly saw that Ayesha Singh is blocked from creation for good reason? Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 12:19, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ayesha Singh was not blocked. It just needed more citations. Smsslove (talk) 00:59, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it was, which is why you disruptively created it in lower case. Star Mississippi 02:34, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was intending to re write the entire draft. creating a new article was not my intention. I was surprised that the article got published and I thought that it got accepted because of the new citations I added in the re-written article. I copied the details in the draft and pasted it. I thought I was re writing the draft but only when I received the speedy deletion nomination notification did I realize what happened in real.
My intention was to improve the draft not to do something that violates any rules. It was a mistake from my part due to my lack of experience in this field. I apologize. Smsslove (talk) 04:36, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You've been told the draft is not ready, disruptively re-creating it in mainspace is not the solution. Consider this a final warning, or you will be blocked. Star Mississippi 12:41, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

List of Indian television actors

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of Indian television actors appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 07:33, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Thanks! – DreamRimmer (talk) 07:11, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I read the comment. But doesn't the citations provided prove that the article pass the criteria? Smsslove (talk) 07:53, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Required citations have been added. Enough citations are provided to prove that the subject in the article passes the eligibility criteria. But there are a lot of music videos done by the same which has no in depth articles. Smsslove (talk) 13:54, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The citations that has been used- Times of India, Hindustan Times, etc are considered the most reliable sources for most articles. Take a look on the article Aishwarya Sharma and it can be noted that it has even much less reliable sources yet got published. Smsslove (talk) 07:56, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the article? Why is it missing after it got reviewed? Smsslove (talk) 03:00, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to bring in to your attention that the above said article has been deleted from Wikipedia. It was deleted earlier but many creates contributed to the draft and finally I did my contributions and submitted the draft to get it approved and published. I want to know the reason it was deleted. Smsslove (talk) 05:32, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This article has been deleted five times. While in their actions as an AFC reviewer @TechnoSquirrel69 believed your draft addressed those deletions, @JBW did not, and the deletion was within his remit as an admin (as it was Squirrel's as a reviewer). If you believe the deletion is incorrect, you may open a deletion review. Star Mississippi 14:04, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to know the mistakes in the article as such mistakes can be avoided later on. I am not in for any other review. Thank you for the message. Smsslove (talk) 17:06, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is the same issues as we've addressed above, consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Priyanka Choudhary showed sourcing wasn't enough depth. Just mentioning Choudhary isn't sufficient, it needs to be about her work. Given the number of deletions, a new article is going to be a higher barrier to acceptance.
