Hi!
Do you know that there is an infinite number of good musicians, writers and artists whose names never appeared in the type of "reliable sources" mentioned by Wikipedia as an example?
You are killing wikipedia.
Please delete my contribution (Nuno Lupi).
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply but it seems to me that wikipedia is going in the wrong direction.

Re. good musicians, writers, artists and reliable sources
[edit]Greetings Sotaodemadeira. Thanks for your initial contribution, and believe me when I say that I'm sorry that it had to go. Please don't take it personally. I agree with you that there are many, many truly outstanding people who never make it - and the music world, which I know well, is full of "musicians' musicians" that never get mentioned outside of musicians' circles. If they're lucky, they might get to work as session musicians for some big acts. The industry ain't interested in quality 'cos it's too much hard work for the consumers, and the musicians that "make" it - often having copied their style from those unknown musicians - will rarely acknowledge their debt. I could go on for hours on this theme, but rules here at Wikipedia are clear - though they might change, depending on which way the wind's blowing. First of all, I'd like to ask you to stick around and help improve this place from the inside, and second, the fact that the article gets deleted doesn't mean it can't be re-created in the future - with some modifications. The English Wikipedia can be improved by contributions from people interested in Portuguese culture, as can the Portuguese Wikipedia, of course. Cheers! --Technopat (talk) 21:33, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
The article Nuno Lupi has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Technopat (talk) 13:18, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
