Talk page use

[edit]

Please could you use the article talk pages to explain your thinking concerning your recent controversial edits to the articles on Husayn ibn Ali, the Battle of Karbala, and the List of casualties in Husayn's army at the Battle of Karbala.-- Toddy1 (talk) 13:45, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I really wish you would contribute more to article talk pages about the edits you want to make. Some (but not all) of your judgments are spot on; but they need to be explained carefully.
Please try not to beat up editors who revert what seem to be dubious edits. They are not gaming the system. You will find that most of these people will respond helpfully if you explain your edits on the article talk pages. It helps to assume good faith, and to be non-confrontational. Also, make sure that you comments are understandable to third parties. It is good to be brief and to the point; but sometimes you overdo it, and it takes work to understand what you are talking about.-- Toddy1 (talk) 21:19, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your suggestions, In fact I do believe in WP:CONS and WP:BRD. SpyButeo (talk) 16:12, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization

[edit]

Aisha is already in Category:Wives of Muhammad so should not be in the parent Category:Muhammad as well. See Wikipedia:Categorization for more info about categorization. Marcocapelle (talk) 15:42, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
