Such a pity! Kelly Martin has deleted the contents that made things interesting. Of course, there was help. Cactus.man has recreated the final list & edit history.
And, for some reason, Cyde took it upon himself to delete a subpage of my talkpage that dealt with this issue, then to move this subpage into its place. I am starting to suspect that I've touched a nerve. --Ssbohio 01:12, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

- From Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion/Autograph_books: I cannot fathom why such things exist. I cannot think of anything more useless than going through a bunch of userspace subpages and littering one's signature anywhere, nor can I figure out why anyone would want such a thing. This trend needs to be nipped in the bud before we have hundreds of pointless "autograph books" with thousands of pointless "autographs". All of this stuff is definitely not permissible per WP:USER as well, so there's your policy rationale for deletion. --Cyde Weys 20:57, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." --From Hamlet (I, v, 166-167) Apparently, if it's useless to Cyde, deletion is warranted.

- Wikipedia Wars Erupt, Los Angeles Times, 30 September 2007
- On Sept. 17, Jimmy "Jimbo" Wales, the founding father of Wikipedia and the community's most celebrated member, created a one-sentence article that read as follows: "Mzoli's Meats is a butcher shop and restuarant [sic] located in Guguletu township near Cape Town, South Africa." Twenty-two minutes later, the article was deleted from the site. Nineteen-year-old administrator Chad Horohoe, who uses the moniker "^demon," removed the entry, citing Wikipedia guideline CSD A7 (Criteria for Speedy Deletion: Articles: No. 7), which says that an article can be summarily deleted -- with no discussion or notice to the author -- if it contains "no assertion of importance/significance." "Once again, people are trying to give Jimbo some god-like status and put him above the rules," wrote Horohoe.
