Unblocking Request

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Hi, Me and my wife have have recently started editing Wikipedia. While I created my account earlier by the name of StartupAsh, she joined in later and created an account by the name of Belllijar. We have been using both the account from a single laptop. In fact, before the second account was created, both of us used my account to contribute on Wikipedia. We did not really thought about any abuse that we might be doing to the system. Currently both the accounts are blocked. Both of us are keen to contribute to Wikipedia. We will figure out how not to use the same laptop for editing Wikipedia. We are ready to verify our identities to any admin in person, if required. Hope you will give us a second chance.

Decline reason:

These are not the only confirmed sockpupppet accounts. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Nicgf/Archive. Additionally, note we have evidence you are working for a marketing company. Yamla (talk) 11:36, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Thanks for reviewing the request Yamla. I saw the list of sockpuppet accounts and I don't recognize or own any of those apart from the two that I have already mentioned. Yes, I work for a marketing company. I did try to insert a link of my client's blog once and that change was reverted by an admin. Have not done that ever since and won't be doing it ever again. This block was totally unexpected for me. Please let me know where does that leave me? What is required from my end to get unblocked? (talk)
