Possible copyrighted posters and original research

[edit]

Hi there, Storymalting. Your recent contributions to Kampong Tanjong Bunut are much appreciated. Please be aware that it is not permitted to submit copyrighted posters or photos that are not "own work"; doing so will result in their removal. Additionally, avoid including unsourced material from your own study. Using your own expertise to choose trustworthy sources is one way to prevent this (not blogs). I hope this is useful! I'm very sorry for that mistake, I was confused and I should have learn more on that. I have permission and the posters are copyright free but I don't know how to correctly format/upload it here. Could you help me on this. And for the map, I've used Brunei Survey website and also Geoportal. To be safe, I had asked my geo teacher and we double checked it. Even though I did use references, I shouldn't have rushed and upload it. Again I'm very sorry for my mistake and I totally understand your comment. Thank you for helping. To add any material, I would begin by going to Wikimedia Commons or reading this. You will be guided step-by-step via the upload form. They will instantly show up and be accessible on Wikipedia after being posted. Posters may contain copyrighted elements like logos and non-free pictures even if they are considered "own work," unless the source specifies otherwise (you still need to indicate it in the "attributes" section). Read this thoroughly to fully comprehend the guidelines. I think your modifications are in good faith, so don't worry. Pangalau (talk) 11:16, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
