June 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page List of The X Factor finalists (UK series 5) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Do not undo me without comment, I am not a vandal. If you believe that Vickers is notable, please provide some sources other than her Twitter profile that discuss this album she is working on, or her record deal. See our guidelines on reliable sources for more information. J Milburn (talk) 12:20, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Be aware of the three revert rule. Please take this to the talk page. J Milburn (talk) 12:25, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Smjg (talk) 13:42, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- Smjg (talk) 14:06, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incidentally, marking this edit as "minor" when the edit served to replace a redirect with a previously deleted article is just a tiny bit dishonest. Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 15:45, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, one of your edit summaries asked why the article has been "deleted". If you read this discussion, it was decided that the article should be redirected. I hope this makes sense and please stop reverting it. Jozal (talk) 15:55, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Diana Vickers. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. OtisJimmyOne 15:56, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why does it get deleted ? See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Diana Vickers. But I think the Afd is out of date, but no-one will discuss it. I also think they are biting you. As I have said, this should be discussed and so I have opened a deletion review at Wikipedia:Deletion review#Active discussions. --Triwbe (talk) 15:57, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Get over to Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2009_June_9 and comment on the Diana Vickers deletion review. Get things moving correctly. --Triwbe (talk) 17:20, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Triwbe (talk) 18:03, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
