Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Svenska356. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Louise Glover, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You mentioned in your AFD nomination that you are aware of the subject's wishes. If you have a personal connection to Glover, you must declare it. CodeTalker (talk) 19:35, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I am not a family member or friend of the subject article. Rather, I just follow them on social media and the subject mentioned in a direct message that they wished for the article to deleted. I don't know the subject personally and have never met the subject before. In my argument, I tried to make sure to refer to specific Wikipedia guidelines at all times.
