Haxe article, request for help[edit]

Hi TentorDa, and thanks for writing. Wikipedia needs more people like you, because honestly, there are too many bitter arguments caused by simple misunderstanding. I've posted a full reply to the Haxe team at User_talk:Tom_Jenkins/Haxe, so visit that page, accept my apologies, and lets begin. I don't mind helping out with the way Haxe is presented. I'll exchange my understanding with the way Wikipedia works for info on how Haxe works. If all goes well, Haxe coverage on Wikipedia should just as good and "glowing" as Haxe actually is. Good day. -- Tom Jenkins (reply) 04:45, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi TD, no problem. I'm "busy with real life" so I'll be editing on and off. The basic idea about Wikipedia is, look at whatever you want to discribe from a 3rd person POV, and try to word it as neutrally as possible, documenting things in a a factual manner rather than gushing about it. It took a while to get used to, when I started with WP I was very passionate and I had to learn to tone it down. In general anything is welcome on an article as long as its: 1) a fact, 2) provable (citations, books, URLs), 3) matches the general POV and is more than just your group's POV. So go ahead and add anything you like. I'll be monitoring the Haxe article and I'll correct anything glaring. Just for the record, I wasn't just a "troll" on the Haxe article, in fact I upgraded the Architecture section, rewrote the Lead and cleaned up the See also section. Nothing much, but just to say that I have had nothing personal against Haxe except the fact that I couldn't find any references that said it could support all those platforms fully. -- Tom Jenkins (reply) 00:48, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
