If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Who Is Famous requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Notes

[edit]

You said, "my intention was not to advertise or drive traffic in it but to inform the people about it's existence and purpose.". Sorry, but that IS what advertising does. It tells people that something exists, and is available. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia (not a directory), and we require our subjects to already be notable. Please read WP:WEB about notability for websites, and WP:RS about reliable independent sources (needed to prove the notability). Alexa counts for nothing much here as, similar to Facebook likes, ratings can be fiddled. Press releases are no good, as they are not independent, and a web page that ends up with 'Register here' or similar is an advert - and not independent. Please be aware that the vast majority of websites (and companies, and people...) do not get articles here. Size tends to attract notability (but not always - there are big companies with no article), but small doesn't of itself mean no article - we have an article about a Scottish bus shelter, because it is notable. Probably the only one in the world that is. I hope you understand how we work a bit more. It's not just a case of creating an article. Peridon (talk) 14:06, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

November 2014

Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 16:31, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also please review the notability guidelines for inclusion (this one for example) before you create an article. Wikipedia is not a directory of people. They must meet inclusion requirements. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 16:32, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Proposed deletion of Doug Witham

[edit]

The article Doug Witham has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

BLP with sourcing issues - fails WP:GNG . COI / Paid / SPAM / Sock creator - see COIN and SPI

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Doug Witham for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Doug Witham is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Doug Witham until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Hello, Teo Anastasiadis. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "sandbox/Weefei".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Teo Anastasiadis/sandbox/Weefei}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:32, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
