Hello

[edit]

Unfortunately, as a new member at this past few decades, I'm not so much in detail knowing all the rules and their subcategories. I was helped to put this bio together by a Finnish woman, who knows my history and people intrigued by my past, wanting to know about history in "full". Chat GPT helped me to put things in more readable ways.

I dag up the links for the bio mostly from Wikipedia. Those links verify the history, that's been occurring and nothing really can change that: I've done everything as described and so much more. No one alive could have all this information about my past and I definitely would need to know, what there is wrong? Something needs to be removed, something replaced...? It took a long time to gather all that and as no one else would be able tackle the task, I would like someone on that side "re-edit" the parts that ring the bell's and as long as the facts remain, I'd be happy to see what would remain. I do happen to be a major figure particularly in Finland and overall in interactive TV and its history.

Waiting for your response.

Kindly, Pekka Kossila 2001:14BB:677:3525:0:0:261D:6101 (talk) 18:23, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please note the following:
  1. Wikipedia articles are about notable topics; in the case of a person, they must meet the notability criteria for people to merit inclusion. If the person is still alive, the article must meet the even stricter policy for biographies of living persons.
  2. Sources used must be both reliable and independent of the topic. I cannot see deleted content, but I believe that you were citing Wikipedia itself as a source. Wikipedia is not a reliable source, as are all open wikis. They are self-published, where the users post content without editorial review. This lack of editorial oversight and fact-checking disqualifies them as reliable sources. We require high-quality, third-party sources; this heavily favours mainstream news organizations, academic press, and reputable publishers of newspapers, books and magazines.
  3. You should never attempt to write an article about yourself, for reasons further explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. You are not capable of being an objective judge of your own notability, nor will you find it easy to write from the required neutral point of view or refrain from using unpublished personal knowledge. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and you meet the notability criteria, someone without any affiliation with you will eventually write about you.

Well, should I then pass back the torch to this female, who's idea the whole thing was?

Is there a wiki-site, where this kind of informative update upon a person, would make sense, as I certainly don't have a clue, why she didn't bother to check upon these newly risen demands on taking everything down... Tietopankkioy (talk) 20:44, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I do remember from early days of Wikipedia, when everything did get online just about instantly and because of that, I didn't bother to check further... Tietopankkioy (talk) 20:46, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't know what you mean with "this female" but it doesn't sound good. And if you are talking about your deleted user page--well, that was properly nominated for deletion: we are not a webhost for people's resumes. Drmies (talk) 20:47, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well

Obviously you didn't realize, that history vice there's only so many people who have done more or same amount for creation of interactive TV. Maybe none who's done as much interactive TV Development as me.

That's way more than pushing out a CV. Tietopankkioy (talk) 20:54, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
