Air trans africa
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Air trans africa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Craig (t|c) 15:01, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with the deletion and have rationalised the ATA page accordingly. Thus the {{db-author}} has been added.

Fair use rationale for Image:Rhodesiancoatofarms.png
[edit]Image:Rhodesiancoatofarms.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Rhodesian Bush War to Second Chimurenga name change?
[edit]There's currently some discussion going on the talk page Talk:Rhodesian Bush War. One user has proposed changing the name of the article Rhodesian Bush War to second Chimurenga. There appears to be some support and some opposition. Sf46 (talk) 11:36, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Aircraft In Miniature Limited
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Aircraft In Miniature Limited, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Company article with no claim of meeting WP:Notability. Gsearch turning up only a few dozen ghits, none of which show notability; 0 gnews hits. Prodding instead of speedy to avoid biting.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fabrictramp | talk to me 18:40, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Just adding a friendly note to this: you might want to read WP:N, especially Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies), to see what the issues are with this article. HTH--Fabrictramp | talk to me 18:42, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:CentralAfricanAirways logo.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
