Crowned Marian images

[edit]

You might suggest that the two pages be merged: you can nominate the merger yourself, using the instructions found at Wikipedia:Merging. If you think other editors will agree to delete the page entirely, use the instructions found at Wikipedia:Deletion policy. I hope those links help. Best, Aristophanes68 (talk) 02:35, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I left a response on my talk page but it now seems that you have moved this along. So I will consider my response as obsolete and you can proceed as noted by Aristophanes68. Donner60 (talk) 09:40, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Immaculate Conception

[edit]

Although you dearly wanted me to continue the too animated discussion at Talk:Immaculate Conception, I thought it best not to continue. I would like to make it clear that I do think that the phrase "and consecrated by Pope Pius XII in 1942" should be removed. I wish you peace and happiness. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Canonical Coronation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Halo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to List of canonically crowned images. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Please observe MOS:CAPS in naming articles. The article has been moved back to its proper name. Thank you. Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lloydbaltazar, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Elizium23 (talk) 04:10, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Our Lady of Soterraña de Nieva, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Santero. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Edit warring

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NeilN talk to me 22:18, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for using a combination of another account and IP editing to edit war, after having been blocked for doing precisely the same thing with this account. It also seems likely that you have abused other accounts an IP addresses.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:22, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I now see that this appears to be one of many sockpuppets used by one person over a prolonged period. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:56, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
