Request reason:

I have not made any disruptive edits, and if I did, I would like to know where, when, and why an administrator thought they were disruptive. The block message included mention of the IP address. I am currently on a college network, so any number of people may have made disruptive edits, but I should not be blocked based on edits made by others. --Truthtests (talk) 23:13, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline. You are not blocked directly, which strongly implies you are caught up in a block on a different person. As indicated, please follow these instructions so we can find your block. Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience. Yamla (talk) 01:56, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Apparently the block expired. --Truthtests (talk) 21:53, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Herbert J. Rushton - Michigan Lawyer

[edit]

Hello, you left a post on my talk page about my removal of the "Michigan lawyers" category from the Herbert J. Rushton page, I think. The reason I removed this category was not because he wasn't a Michigan lawyer, but because the category Michigan Attorneys General is a subcategory of Michigan lawyers, thus making it redundant. I think this is how categories work, as Michigan lawyers is not a non-diffusing category, though I could be wrong.

Also, I don't mean to be rude, but a suggestion for the future, if you leave a message on someone's talk page about reverting an edit, could you please explain which pages the reversion happened on? That would make it notably easier for the other person. RoundSquare (talk) 04:52, 20 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the suggestion. The other reversion was your edit of the Scott Boman article. You changed a category from "Category:State political party chairs of Michigan" to "Category:Michigan Democratic Party chairs." He was never a Democratic Party chair. He was a Libertarian Party chair.--Truthtests (talk) 18:26, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:08, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
