License tagging for Image:Cashflowdiagram.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cashflowdiagram.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:04, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Sawrry, this page is nawt aboat Australia

[edit]

I did not dispute that and I am getting a bit upset with that reversion, becuase it made comparsons the Britsh and American English, so I decided that it should be consistant, this is becuase UK/US centric notations, rferneces and comparisons are a pet peeve of mine on the English language edition of wikipedia (I'm an Australian wikipedian), are you saying that Australian English is non-sequitur becuase the two "main languages" in the English langauge edition of wikipedian are British and American English? Not very fair on us. Myrtone@Uniqueuponhim.com.au:-(

The reason that it is UK/US Centric is that the UK and US are virtually the only two contributors to Canadian English (along with France). The reason for this is that we were colonized by the British, and are right next to the Americans. Australia is literally on the opposite side of the globe, and Canadian and Australian dialects have evolved completely separately from one-another, each being influenced in its own way by British English. I have been debating this with JackLumber about this see here and here. Myrtone@Uniqueuponhim.com.au:-(

Re:Archmage

[edit]

Hi there, thanks for contacting me.

I deleted the article because it had been proposed for deletion and the PROD went unchallenged. It had a valid deletion reasoning; that is it was unverified by reliable sources. I can email you the text of the article at the time of the deletion for you to work on off-wiki if you'd like. Just note that recreation of deleted material in the same state as it was when deleted is a candidate for speedy deletion. So if you'd like to spruce it up and then repost it, let me know. I'm a bit surprised by the outcome myself; one would think that would've gotten deleted or merged by now. And no, there's nothing problematic about renominating an article, especially when the discussion didn't reach consensus, though the community standards are usually that at least a month or two have passed since the no-consensus result, to give a new discussion a better chance of reaching consensus. In this case it's been over a year, so just fine if you do so. Seraphimblade Talk to me 15:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

D&D articles for Wikipedia 0.7

[edit]

Hi there!  :)

As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 16:13, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Grounders

[edit]

I have nominated Grounders, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Grounders. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. KuyaBriBriTalk 17:28, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
