Carfax COI

[edit]

You have a WP:COI with the Carfax article since you work for the company, and I thank you for declaring your COI on the company's talk page. I always assume good faith, but I also like to be bold when restoring content that has been deleted from corporate articles by employees.

WP:COI is clear

Editors who may have a conflict of interest are allowed to make certain kinds of non-controversial edits, such as:

1. Removing spam and reverting vandalism. 2. Deleting content that violates Wikipedia's biography of living persons policy. 3. Fixing spelling and grammar errors. 4. Reverting or removing their own COI edits. Cleaning up your own mess is allowed and encouraged. 5. Making edits that have been agreed to on the talk page.

To determine what is controversial, use common sense. If another good faith editor objects, then it's controversial.

I did not contribute to this section until only a few minutes ago today. I prevented you from deleting it a few days ago, and today I have added a brief outcome of the lawsuit using the nytimes source you left on my talk page. I also added a source from the boston globe because it included a specific date and location.

Also, please view the talk page at S&S_Cycle and find the lawsuit sources I have accumulated since December 2007. I do plan on adding such information to the article, thanks for your curiosity. Perhaps you would like to help? Corey Salzano (talk) 01:30, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
