I did not remove content from Ted Yoho. Who is Ted Yoho? Wendell Corey (talk) 04:46, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The article on her mother says that Lupita died on November 12, 2016, one day after Susan's 80th birthday! Wendell Corey (talk) 15:06, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Susan Kohner. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:28, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody else provided a reference, so the point is moot. However, there's a good reason to use a template instead of a text in those cases, since it updates age automatically. Nobody wants to update all the ages on all the BLP's. Kleuske (talk) 15:11, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I saw your reversion of the edit that removed the template immediately before I read your reply above. Thank you for doing that. I have no idea why someone would replace the template with plain text. Eddie Blick (talk) 00:53, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you can replace the plain text with a template, please do so. I have no idea how to do it! However, I agree that no one wants to update all the ages when ages can be updated automatically via an update! Thank you. Wendell Corey (talk) 07:07, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The birth date and age template ({{Birth date and age|YYYY|MM|DD}}) looks more complicated than it actually is. When I need to use it I just copy and paste the template in the infobox, then fill in the year, month, and date. If someone was born on March 10, 1938, the template would look like this: {{Birth date and age|1938|3|10}}), which would show as (1938-03-10) March 10, 1938 (age 86) in the infobox.Eddie Blick (talk) 01:57, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
After the above conversation, you have continued to remove birth date and age templates on articles.[1][2] Stop doing that. It's disruptive. Schazjmd (talk) 14:26, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you could please return Tom Courtenay to the template, that would be appreciated Wendell Corey (talk) 09:28, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand your request. Who is Tom Courtenay? How does he relate to the article about Susan Kohner? Eddie Blick (talk) 01:37, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actor born on February 25. It is okay. His age has been updated. Thank you. Wendell Corey (talk) 14:41, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I see the issue. Wendell, when you open an article on the person's birthday and the age has not yet changed in the infobox, give it a few hours or refresh your browser cache. The template will update the age automatically. Even if you don't see the correct age immediately on that date in your time zone, don't make any changes to the infobox. Schazjmd (talk) 15:27, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Got it! Thank you. Wendell Corey (talk) 20:05, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
