I think the picture accompanying the article on "Lucrezia Crivelli" should be deleted. How do I mark it for deletion? The portrait was previously thought to have been showing Lucrezia Crivelli, but has been listed in a recent exhibition by the National Gallery London (in collaboration with the Louvre in Paris) as depicting Beatrice d'Este (see citation of 2011 National Gallery exhibition catalogue noted in article). I corrected the article to reflect this change in scholarship, but I think the picture should be changed/deleted also, as it is erroneous. Unfortunately I've spent too much time on this already. If you know how to flag the picture, please do so, and cite the above info. Thanks. ~Wikieditor54321, Feb 26, 2012

Hi wikieditor. Wikipedia:Afd is where you need to go with that, but be aware a lot of the people you meet there will be drive by openions and you will need to sift to get to the people whoes openion actaully matters. Look at other similar pages for the style of argument that passes on wiki and good luck. Wiki is hamstrung by bureaucracy and its easy if your new to get lost in it. You can ping me at any time for guidance or help. Ceoil (talk) 22:21, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, since you are not advocating the deletion of the article, but the image file, Wikipedia:Files for deletion would be the correct venue]]. As it could reasonably be used in the Beatrice d'Este article and maybe elsewhere, deletion would likely be declined. It seems you should suggest its removal from the article at the talk page (citing the reference), although changing the image caption or discussing in the article 'was thought to be...but may be...', including the references, may be a solution. Uh, yeah Dru of Id is right. 54321 the wiki way is to make the argument on the article's talk page, wait for a response there and see what happens. I've asked User:Amandajm to take a look; she's our resident expert on Leonardo, so lets see what happens. Ceoil (talk) 01:41, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
